Born in Derbyshire, the son of a master carpenter, I have been working with timber all my working life.
During this time, I have had the pleasure of using some of the most beautiful timbers in the world & I derive great satisfaction from teasing out each timber’s inner beauty to create tactile & lively pieces of furniture. I consider myself one of those lucky people who thrive on their work.
I enjoy the whole process involved in providing someone with a new kitchen. From the design to the fitting, I welcome the challenge of making the most of the space available & as a result, creating a kitchen that will be cherished for many years to come.
Whether it is fitting a kitchen or making an individual piece of furniture, customer satisfaction is my highest priority. I pride myself on taking the utmost care with my work & with a keen eye for detail, the quality of my workmanship throughout is of a very high standard.
I lead a creative life & in my spare time, when I am not designing & making in my workshop, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar & sailing. I recently started building my own acoustic guitar. It’s been an ambition of mine for a very long time & I was recently given the opportunity to be taught by Cameron J Mobbs, one of the top luthiers in the country.
